McKinley Consulting is currently recruiting for a Java Architect/Team Lead for a contract opportunity on a project with a local client.  This is for a 1-year contract.

Consultant needs to have a passion for software development and architecture.  Strong desire to mentor and develop other software developers on team.

Qualified candidate should have the following experience:

• 5-8+ years experience in an Architect or Lead role in an enterprise level environment.
• 5+ years experience with J2EE/Java/JEE design and development.  Experience with web development frameworks, spring, hibernate, etc.
• 4+ years experience with web services, SOA and REST-based approaches
• Experience leading development teams, giving work direction.
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Strong communication and business acumen
