McKinley Consulting is currently recruiting for a Jr. VB.NET Developer for a contract for hire opportunity with a local client.  Only local candidates to Minneapolis/St. Paul will be considered.

We are looking for a junior level .NET Developer to join a local client in a small development team.  This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and to gain experience with .NET Development.

Qualified candidate should have the following experience:

•  1-3 yrs of .NET development experience.  VB.Net experience preferred (C# ok).
• Good UI development knowledge in addition to full SW development lifecycle.
• Experience working with the database. (SQL Database: Stored procs, queries, and triggers)
• Bachelors in computer science is highly preferred.  Work experience may be able to replace the lack of a degree.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.  Someone who can multi-task well and can act independently is needed.
